Sometimes the www.omii.org is off line - as is now. To reduce your annoyance, you can find out whether your lack of ability to connect to the site is related to your own service provider or the site itself.

Go to your command line, or to the MSDos prompt, ie C:\ and type: ping www.omii.org

This will give you several possible responses
1 - site not found
2 - site timed out
3 - the results of four pulses sent to the site, with a return pulse - time signal - 30-50 msec usually.

As I understand there's little we can do about this, but knowing how to check any site you regularly visit lets you know whether it is your browser, the system identifier or the site itself.
