Surnames: Wagner
for Charles Wagner of Boston and Chelsea, MA, the change would be circa 1893-1910, if it happened, my grandmother was vague about who but I've narrowed it down to very likely Charles.

I just found out that the 'Mass Vital Records index to names changed in Mass 1893-1927' is at the New England Historic Genealogical Society - a book at the desk on the 4th floor - you have to go there to look at it.

I live in Oregon on a pension and am disabled. that's why I asked for a look-up, I know I can't access NEHGS myself, and I have quite a few New England ancestors.

Try posting another message to see if anyone is going to the New England Historic Genealogical Society and would look it up for you.
