Hello,

I am wondering if someone could do a look up for me from NEHGS. His name is John Slattery and he was born on Sept 1817 in Ireland. He died in Boston in 1901. I think he would have been living with his daughter Natabria, aka Nettie, Crotty and her husband Andrew. I have the 1900 census from Boston with John Slattery living with them. Also in the 1900 census, his daughter Teresa was living in the Crotty household. In an old diary of Nettie's niece, Blanche McKearney from 1898, Nettie and her husband Andrew were living on 231 Saratoga Street Boston MA.

I am hoping the death record for John Slattery will tell me where in Ireland he was born. He and his wife Margaret Gorman were married in Ste-Catherine-Jacques-Cartier, Portneuf, Quebec, Canada and all of their children were born there.
