Classification: Query
Surnames: VAN NEST, BROWN
My cousin PEGGY BROWN of England married Charles Frederick Van Nest in Huntingdon, England in 1945. He was a Sergeant serving in U.S. Army. He was aged 29 i.e. born c 1916 and hom e was Hughes Avenue, Martin Ferry, Ohio.
I recently dicovered that PEGGY VAN NEST died 28th January 2004 at Woodsfield, Ohio and was buried at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Her obituary apears in Monroe County list on the internet.
Sgt Charles Van Nest's father was GEORGE WASHINGTON VAN NEST, a steel mill worker.
I know nothing further of the family in Ohio but would dearly love to hear from relatives or friends who knew them.

Tony Brown
Dartford, Kent, England
