Staley, Friend, 83, of Deep Run, R.D. Martins Ferry, died Sunday afternoon at the Martins Ferry Hosiptal. He was born in New Martinsville, July 18, 1887 the Son of Martin and mary Ann Thomas Staley.
He was retired employe of the Yorkville plant of the Wheeling -Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
Surviving are his widow, Leona Hennis Staley, of Martins Ferry; Two Brothers, George of Martins Ferry and Fred of New Cumberland, WV.
Friends received at the Heslop Funeral Home, after 7 p.m. Monday, where services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m., with Rev Dean Warren officiating. Interment in Upland Cemetery, Yorkville Ohio
