Phillips, Mrs Luncinda, 81 of 444 Clark St, died at 1:10 p.m. at the Martins Ferry Hosiptal. She was born, February, 23, 1882 at New Martinsville, W.Va, a Daughter of Martin and Mary Anne Thomas Staley. A fromer employe of the Martins Ferry Hosiptal, she came to Martins Ferry in 1922.
She was a member of the Apostolic Church of Martins Ferry. Her Husband Daniel M. Phillips, preceded her in death in 1934.
Survivors include a Son, Hugh, of Martins Ferry; a Daughter, Mrs Curtis Matthews, of Shadyside; Three Brothers, Fred Staley of New Cumberland, George and Emanual Staley of Martins Ferry, 17 grandchildren and 32 great-greatchildren.
Friends may call at the Heslop Funeral Home, Martins Ferry, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev Albert R. Waite officating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, in Martins Ferry
