I am finding it rather challenging to find information about the Separatists who were left behind in 1620-- both those who remained behind in Leyden, as well as those who were likely left behind in England who did not or could not "make the cut" for the final group who went over on the Mayflower.
Specifically, I'm seeking information on John Bradford, son of William and Dorothy (May) Bradford. We know he wasn't on the Mayflower. Where did he stay until he finally came over? When DID he finally come over? Did he remain in Leyden? with whom? Or was he part of the group who were left behind in England? And what happened to that group? Did they return to Leyden? What's known/documented about those left behind?
Would appreciate any pointers to where I can learn more about "those left behind".
Thanks.
