The Warren Historical Commission will be dedicating two historical markers for Halmich Park 2:00pm on Friday, May 11, 2007 at Halmich Park at 3001 13 Mile Rd. between Dequindre and Ryan.
The park was named for Norman Halmich a former postmaster, storekeeper and businessman in Warren.

There will be a Village Walk and a Cemetery Walk on Sunday, May 20th. The self-guided Village Walk from noon-3pm will begin at the Village Hall 5961 Beebe & Flynn (N. of 13 Mi. Rd. & E. of Mound). There will also be a hot dog lunch at Kuhnhenn’s Brewery and an ice cream social in the Village Hall. The Cemetery Walk will be at 1pm and 3pm in the Warren Union Cemetery located on Chicago Rd. between Ryan & Mound. The Friends of the Warren Library will be having a used book sale in the Village Hall 1pm-4pm.
