Yes and no, we still have an association but haven't done anything in such a long time we are no longer accepting members that expects a newsletter. There is always one in the making but doesn't happen. We are all in our 80's now and no new members that want to give their Selleck Genealogy with proofs, for publication. Death of members as occured. Jim Newman has set up a Facebook page. Are you related to Tom Selleck as his aunt also used to be a member. Everyone wants someone else to to the work but not help producing an article. Please feel free to e-mail me for further info through Ancestry.

Thanks for the quick reply. Tom and I are 10th double cousins. He is descended from Jonathan Selleck and Abigail Law; we are descended from John Selleck and Sarah Law.

I totally understand what you mean about everyone wanting someone else to do the work. I'm beginning my 7th year as president of a Little League in Ventura, CA. It's the same in any volunteer organization.

Are the newsletters available for purchase? I'm sure I would enjoy reading them and would learn a lot about our ancestors.

Thanks again,
Paul
