I have a death notice from newspapers in Jan, 1798 that talks about Bridgetown and Rahway in Knowlton Township, then Sussex County, now Warren County. Anyone able to identify these on a map?

Joseph,
You've got a bit of jumbled information. In 1798, Rahway and Bridgetown (Main St. area of Rahway) were in Essex County. Today, Rahway is the southeast corner of Union County.
