I am sorry, Ozias Whiting is not listed in our DAR Patriot Index. This does not mean he did not have the service you mention, it only means no woman has joined the DAR using him as her patriot ancestor.

To check to see if anyone has joined the SAR with him as an ancestor, perhaps you can find out if they provide a service similar to this on their web page at www.sar.org

I do not know of any sites in Vermont that could assist you, but there may be. If you haven't checked for a pension record that may be of help. Visit the National Archives web page at www.nara.gov
