I am sorry, we do not list Jacobus Van Vorst in our DAR Patriot Index. This does not mean he was not a patriot of the American Revolution, it only means that no woman has joined the DAR using him as her patriot ancestor.

Any woman who can prove his service and her lineal descent from him can join the DAR. Each chapter has members who can assist with the application process. If you are interested in becoming a member of the DAR you can e-mail me at TRY925@aol.com and I can have your local chapter contact you.
