The ST stands for Scotland. I would suggest that you order a record copy of the application with this patriot’s information. A record copy will give you information about the service of the patriot, information about his children, a list of generations down to the applicant, and sources of proof of information supplied.
You may request a copy from DAR National Headquarters. You will need to send the above information about the Patriot, along with a check made payable to the Treasurer General, NSDAR in the amount of $10 (U.S.). The request and check should be sent:
Registrar General, NSDAR
Attn: Record Copy Dept.
1776 D Street NW
Washington, DC 20006-5303.
Requests will take between 6-8 weeks (or less).
If any lineal descendant of this patriot would like more information about joining DAR or SAR, please send me your name and address to
h0meb0und@aol.com (the o’s are zeroes) and we will have a DAR or SAR Chapter near you get in contact with you.
I hope this information helps.
Sincerely,
