I have information that my Aunt passed on to me before she died that has an ancestor John Harris III married to Charity as having served in the Revolutionary war. I am trying to substantiate this and find out more about his service. All of these ancestors lived on the coast of NC, which was Virginia at this time. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
