Hello Dorothy,

It’s not much more than what you already have, so I would suggest that you order a record copy of the application with this patriot’s information. A record copy will give you information about the service of the patriot, information about his children, a list of generations down to the applicant, and sources of proof of information supplied.
You may request a copy from DAR National Headquarters. You will need to send the above information about the Patriot, along with a check made payable to the Treasurer General, NSDAR in the amount of $10 (U.S.). The request and check should be sent:
Registrar General, NSDAR
Attn: Record Copy Dept.
1776 D Street NW
Washington, DC 20006-5303.
Requests will take between 6-8 weeks.
There are members who help prospective members document their Revolutionary Patriot. If you would like more information or help joining DAR, please send me your full name and address to
h0meb0und@aol.com (the o’s are zeroes) and we will have a DAR Chapter near you get in contact with you.
I hope this information helps.
Sincerely,
Joyce
