Hello Wanda,

Thank you for your query. I have researched the name Valance (and the different variations) that you submitted. The only information I found was a Hannah Vallance married to Timothy BRONSON Jr. His information is as follows:

Birth: CT 26 Aug 1734
Service: VT
Rank: Col PS
Death: VT 11 Aug 1798
Patriot Pensioned: No Widow Pensioned: No
Children Pensioned: No Heirs Pensioned: No
Spouse: (1) Hannah Vallance

This does not mean that a Valance did not serve in some capacity during the Revolutionary War. It simply means that no one has joined DAR using his service. I wish I could give you more information.

If you are interested or should ever become interested in joining DAR, there are members who help prospective members document their Revolutionary Patriot.

Sincerely,

Joyce
