I am interested if my 4th great grandfather Elias Clark (1755-1845) is listed with the DAR. According to his pension he enlisted in Minisink, Orange County New York around 1775.
He was mustered out in Walkill, Orange County New York around 1782. I know that he was in Battles in New Jersey (Trenton). Elias was married to a Hiley Cole and they were reported to have had offspring named Samuel (b.1785) , James, Josiah, Peter (b.1790 my line), Elizabeth (b. 1789), and Margaret (b.1796). I would like to know if there are any active descendants today.
He did receive a pension for his service in 1831 in Ithaca New York.
