Isaac Philips, b. 1755+/-10, d. 1803.

Isaac got a landgrant in Guilford/Rockingham Co., NC in 1784.
He sold this land in 1790, where he is listed as of "Tenese(sic)
Co." He was an early JP in Tennessee Co. and in succeeding Robertson Co. He acquired land in Robertson in 1795. He was
elected Capt. in the militia Oct. 1, 1798, and was last mentioned in Court minutes Oct. 1803. He was listed as "deceased" in a Baptist church members' roster in 1803..

He may have been active in the Revolution War.
