I had checked in my OH DAR Roster and it is listed there under Ross Co. OH.
If she doesn't have the Pension yet she should get it.
If she can get to Heritage Quest they now have all these Pension applications on line. Since I belong to OGS I can access them at no cost. It is really great to be able to do that.
I forgot which child she said she descends from but the children listed are: Sarah 27 in 1824; Ann 25 ; William 23; Polly 20; Rebecca 18; Susan b. 1788; Harry 1790; John 1792; Elizabeth 1794; Mary 1803; Catherine 1808. Soldier died-3-5-1834 Ross Co. OH. Pension appl. 3-31-1825 Ross Co. OH, Cont Line W4826 B L Wht 1171-100.
Private PA Cont . enlisted summer 1779 Charlottesville, VA Served 3 years. Was 71 years in 1825. married 12-5-1787. This article was in the OH DAR Rev. Soldiers Rosters Volume 1 & II 1929-1938.
