I have further information on Johann Weinhardt (John Vineyard).

He is my 7th great grandfather. The land you speak of - I visited it frequently while growing up. My great grandmother (Hazel Perrin Fennell still lived on it until about 11-12 years ago. John's marker was apparently relocated around 1982 to the New Vineyard Cemetery - but it's still very close to the original land grant.

I was always told of John's service in the American Revolution - and that has field my love of History since I was a child.
