Hello David;
I looked in the NSDAR Patriot Index and found no General David born in 1747 and died in 1818. That doesnt mean he didnt fight, it means that no one has joined the NSDAR Membership using his lineage.

Where did General David serve in the Revolutionary War? And who was his wife? There were 128 with the surname of David listed in the NSDAR Patriot Index.
