We do have a John GALLOWAY listed in our Patriot Index,

John GALLOWAY, born circa 1760 in Virginia. He died after Dec. 15 1835 in Kentucky. His spouse name is not listed. He was a Private for the State of Virginia and He received a Pension.

You could go to a local Library that has Library Loan.......and order the film for his Pension. Sometimes you may acquire a lot of information from these Pensions.

If you would like to order a copy of the application papers. Send a check made payable to Treasurer General NSDAR for $10. Send the Patriot information and the name of the child that you descend to REGISTRAR GENERAL NSDAR, Attn: Record Copy Dept.; 1776 D Street NW, Washington, DC 20006-5303.
Requests now take 6-8 weeks.
