I am interested in my g-g-grandfather. I have traced him to his birth 4/7/1786 in New Hampshire and his grave in Renssalaer In. D 4/27/1874. He was married to Mercy (Marcia) Goodell (Goodale) B 9/11/1786 possibly in CT or MA. D 3/26/1875 buried in Renssalaer IN. I found his war record in born a bible and in the Newberry Library here in CHicago as serving with Captain Cyrus Johnson in 1813-1814 war record #9587. What I would like to find is his parents and Mercy's parents. I cannot yet travel to New Hampshire, nor can I find anything in books or census listing any names. Can anyone help? This is a large Thrnton family tree, as they had many children and lived for a time in Ohio as well as Indiana.
