I was on the website for a California chapter of DAR and came across their Patriot Index. In it was listed a PVT Peter Ermentraudt, VA and I believe he is the Grandfather of my GGG-Grandmother (paternal). From someone else's website on RootsWeb I came across this: "He served in Capt. Daniel's Co., Augusta Co., VA Militia."

Could you please look Peter up and see where he served? I suspect he served sometime between 1775 and 1779. Any other information you might have about him would be greatly appreciated.
