Samual Swilley, born in Craven Co., N.C., served with South Carolina in the Revolutionary War but I only find references to his having served. His wife, Sarah (maiden last name unknown), was born about 1760 and received a draw of land in the 1827 Georgia Land Lottery based on being a widow of a RW soldier. Is there any information on Samuel and Sarah in the DAR records. I will gladly pay for copies.
