Yes!! This looks very promising. In fact, I think it has to be my gr gr gr gr grandfather -Robert. His son Robert, baptised in 1771, would have been too young to be in the Revolutionary War. This is GREAT news! The Time and Place are right - as this family settled in Albany Co., and then Saratoga Co., NY during this time period. My gr gr gr grandfather, John Tombs, enlisted in Rev War from Albany, NY in 1776 and I have his Rev War Records and pension papers.
May I ask where exactly you found this info, Dennis?
Is there any mention of who commanded Regiment Thirteen?
