Benjamin Kelley, born in Bedford County, VA 1761 is believed to be the same as listed in the DAR magazine some years back as being one of 50 in Sep 1777 that signed a pledge to support the Revolutionary effort. He travelled to Boonesbourogh and in Feb 1778 was captured by Shawnee Indians and held captive until Sep 1882.
