Hello, our chapter registrar is helping a gentleman try to get his mother in the DAR. She is close to 100 years old and bed-ridden, but has always wanted to join. In fact, she tried about 30 years ago, and there was some sort of "break" in her lineage. Come to find out her sister had joined the DAR. Would we just have to prove the relationship to her sister? Or, do we have to follow the long or short form? Thank you so much for your help.
