I am sorry, but a search of our DAR Patriot Index did not locate your John Jacob Miller. This does not mean that he did not serve. It only means that no woman has joined the DAR using his service as proof of her eligibility to be a member.

Have you looked for a pension file for John Jacob Miller. Some libraries have access to HeritageQuest.com which provides images of Revolutionary War Pension Files. You could also check on the National Archives web site to see how to find his pension at nara.gov

If Miller's service can be proved any female descendant is eligible for the DAR. If interested in membership they can e-mail me at TRY925@aol.com and I can have their local chapter contact them.
