I saw your posting and wondered if you had checked cemetery records at Mt. Calvary Cemetery for your German family? The Catholic Cemetery Association (at the Columbus diocese website) can be very helpful. Half of Mt. Calvary are the Germans from Holy Cross parish. You might also want to check Greenlawn Cemetery near German Village. Although not Catholic, it might be of some help.
