my great grandfather was patrick ready who came from ireland to usa about 1862. he is in the 1870 census in mineral point, ohio, tuscarawas cty. he married debby gordon may 1, 1871 by rev dues at st joseph catholic church in dover, ohio, tuscarawas cty. there son was john elmer ready, born june 15, 1871. patrick died dec 14, 1881. i was told that his funeral service was officiate by a minister, probably methodist episcopal, and as catholic priest who may have been rev dues. st patricks catholic church was set up around the time of his death and rev dues did not have a home church then. st patricks church in mineral city is no longer in existance. i wrote to st josephs church in dover whee he and debby were married, but i have not heard anything back. i am also trying to find a familial tie between bishop michael j ready and my great grandfather patrick ready. the record society and someone on line were nice enough to send me info about where bishop ready's father, michael t ready, who was born(scotland of irish parents) but i am not exactly sure in which county, or if his mother nora's maiden name or married name was ready. i cant seem to find out when he or she died. the 1910 census has him listed in barberton, ohio, summit cty. would anyone know what church he may have a member of? rev james ready was born in ohio, probably leetonia, columbiana cty. his parents were james and hanora macnamara ready, who were born in ireland i am again trying to find a familial relationship. he was born july 2, 1865. he was ordained september 8, 1897. he said his first mass sept 19, 1897. he died oct 15, 1936. i am interested in finding out which church he oversaw, where he died, and if there is an obituary. i would appreciate any help someone can give me
