Rick
I lived down the street from the orphanage on Main Street in Columbus and remember it as still an operating orphanage thru at least the early 1960s. My cousin was a Francisian nun and spent a few summers there with the children. Funny story, when I was 5-6 years old (1959-69) my mother sent me down to the orphanage to get my cousin for a meal. Another nun came to the door and questioned me as to why I was still there and not at camp like the other children. Thankfully. my cousin saved me just in time from the wrath of this other nun.
