I am looking for information on my late father-in-law's 1st cousin, James C. Lucas prisoner #224 incarcerated on Alcatraz during the 1930's. He stabbed Al Capone with some shears and during his attempted escape he along with 2 other men, killed a guard. I would like to find out as much as I can about Lucas. Where can I find old records? Does anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance.
