Would like to know if anyone has any knowledge of a "Jane Smithers" living in the Maitland area sometime between 1840 and 1854. She was my gggrandmother. Can find no record of her arrival in OZ but she died in Parramatta Lunatic Asylum as Jane Webster in 1887. She was born about 1822.Can find no record of her marriage to Edward Webster but he is mentioned on their children's Baptism records (Samuel and William (twins) born West Maitland in 1847).
