I am trying to track down birth and marriage records of my great grandparents.

Names: Sarah Davis and George Brown

Sarah was born in around 1848-1849 and records indicate she was born in or close to West Maitland. We have not yet successfully found records of the names of her parents.

Before marrying George she had a prior marriage to James Ealding in 1869, West Maitland. They had 2 children Lydia and James and maybe one other child who died young.

She had two children to George who lived - George Henry (born 1886) and May (1883). 1-2 children from this relationship also died.(One was born around 1881, Named Mary Ann)

Date of death: probably 1935 - 1950 in Sydney area

Although we have not found a direct record of her marriage to George Brown -records indicate they may have been married in around 1878 or 1879, WestMaitland

George Brown was born around 1846-1848 we believe in/around West Maitland, he became a blacksmith and died in 1928 at 81yrs,he was buried in Rookwood Cemetery. His parents names were George Henry and Mary Ann
