Looking for information on any of the families above who settled in the Maitland/Cessnock/Greta/Branxton/Hinton area during the 1800's. I have some information that may be helpful to others and also after some information to fill some gaps as well.

Hodges - (from Cessnock area)
Thomas - (from Wales arrived circa 1824 buried Hinton)
Bercini - (migrated from Italy on the Donald McKay clipper ship in 1861) settled in Branxton 1963
Brunner - (from family Germany migrated on the San Francisco in 1852)
Bourke/Burke (don't have much info on this side except that Catherine Martha Bourke b.1844 m. George Thomas b.1841, her parents apparently changed the spelling of the surname to stop confusion with another family in the area by the same name.
