Hello All
I'm trying to trace an ancestor called Patrick Murray transported to Australia in 1832 from Ireland where I am

In my search for my ancestor I've become especially interested in two people & would be appreciate any help or advice.

Suspect Patrick Murray 1
Died in Berrima on Feb 2nd 1869 ref no 2961.
His age was shown as 75 & his native place was Ireland.
His occupation is shown as laborer.
The informant was R.N. Matthews undertaker Berrima.
He died of "natural causes accelerated by sickness and old age". The length of illness is shown as "same being the finding of a jury held on view of body of deceased by Charles Lindsay Nicholson Coroner" He is buried in the RC Burial ground Berrima
The witness was John McPherson
The minister of religion was Rev D MCGUINN RC

All other facts about him are described as "Not Stated" or "Unknown"

There is a discrepancy between the age of this Patrick & that of the Patrick on the Captain Cook - but not a huge one.

Suspect Patrick Murray 2:
Married Honora Haynes on 11 Mar 1842 at St Mary's RC Cathedral, Sydney. The witnesses to the marriage were Michael Murphy, Sally Hogan and Thomas Haynes.

I would like to get anything that links either “suspect” to the Captain Cook which arrived in April 1832 or

TOL 40/1258,
or
TOL 46/1139,
or
TOL 46/1206
or
CP 27/51

All of the above documents were held by my ancestor

I am inclined to discount the Patrick Murray who was buried in on May 25th 1883 in Burrowa Ref 5997 That man was shown as being from Cork in Ireland whereas my ancestor was from Cavan in Ireland
