I Find that the lists are to long and that I couldn't put up all the the letters of the alphabet on the post. So this is my last one. However I will be happy to do any and all lookups in any year of 1790-1873. I'm sorry to say I'm in error on the date of me first two posts in should have 1873 not 74. If you would like a lookup on my A or B list let me know be happy to help.
Dennis Segelquist.

Walbrecht
I have a friend that is trying to find a Great great Uncle that came from Germany and was suppose to have been a Post Master in Wyoming. The mans last name was Walbrecht. He did find a fort that has a similar spelling but didn't know if that is where he was or not. Do you have anyone in you list for the 1860's that might match that last name, possible with a different spelling? Thank you so much for doing lookups.

I looked and looked but found nothing in my index but if your friend will write to this address they may be able to help.

My Post office info only covers the years 1790-1833 and this just tells were the post office were. I found all the postmaster by a general search. The key word was postmaster and I had to look at each item to find the names. You are looking for men that were postmaster at Tulare Ca. and I need names to be able tell you if they were postmasters…LOL. If you have some name you think may have been postmasters sand them and I will take a look. If this search goes beyond 1875, I will not be of any help.

Thanks for the reply. I seek one Charles D. Putnam and Royal Porter Putnam if they were listed as postmasters at the Tule PO. That's not the same as Tulare. Tule is present day Porterville, CA.
Thanks.

I looked and was unable to find anything on them. I try a number of index’s but came up empty. Here is a page that may be of but will cost you a fee, have you tried footnote web site?
