My great grandfather, John MULLIN, his mother Mary MULLIN (nee PATTERSON) and his 2 sisters apparently came to Victoria from Liverpool about 1850. I am attempting to find their shipping records. John MULLIN was born in 1846 whilst sisters Jane Matilda was born about 1834 and Maria about 1841. I have no idea when Mary (mother) was born but we can say ~ 1814. I believe I found Jane Matilda arriving in 1850 aboard the 'Lady Kennington'. This matches because she marries in November, 1852 to Alexander Methven LAMBERT. I presume John and Maria came with their mother Mary at some other time. The earliest I know of their evidence in Victoria is that Maria was definitely in Victoria in 1858 as she is the informant on her sister's birth of a son Robert LAMBERT. John was here by 1866 as he appears as an inquest member on his brother-in-law's (Henry BOARDMAN) coronial inquiry. In the past I have tried to find the correct entry but am still confused! Can anyone please assist me? Thanks, Rob
