Hi,

Over the last couple of years I've found my family tree has grown to include many consecutive generations of shoemakers with the surname of Marshall (fathers, sons, uncles and nephews). I also have an Elizabeth Marshall who married a David Dickson.

There are a few exceptions but mostly they have lived in Edinburgh and surrounding areas such as South Leith and Liberton.
