Found this article mentioning a Little Cherub that must have existed before 1800 and description of the Little Cherub that says it was constructed in 1804. Anyone know about this first one?
"At sea, about 10 days since, Captain John Shackford, of and onboard the brig Little Cherub; Capt. Shackford was an industrious, enterprizing man, and a good member of society, he has left a sorrowful widow and a young family to lament his life." (New Hampshire Gazette, (Portsmouth. Early American Newspapers (1690-1876) , http://infoweb.newsbank.com), 1800-06-03; Vol: XLV; Iss: 23, Page 3)
