And Turk's good friend Bob Woodward was his friend and also stunt double for the old wild west shows. That's where he met my mom and gave her a signed picture of himself on FDR.

My hubby was a small kid when his stepfather... lived with him and his mom.
He tells me that the cowboys/heros' of that time were notorious with women because they were so overwhelmed by the fans. His father Bob Woodward was a stunt double for several famous guys like Hopalog Cassidy and Roy Rodgers as well as a Rodeo cattle roper and friend of Turk.
They traveled all the time and his mom got frustrated after so many long distance/Long time missing trips . She thought they were married but then she found out he was married to someone else he had never divorced

I was told that William Jerky Bill Solomon and his sisters who both married men named Welch traveld around with the Greenough family. I am wishing to find out more about William Solomon. His first wife died did he remarry? He last lived in Casper Wy. in the mid 1940's when and where did he die. William Solomon had a sister Mary who married a Decker and later a Glen Brough who was all so in to Wild West shows and rodeo. Mary once lived in North Platte, Ne and knew Buffalo Bill. Mary Decker later worked with a William Greenough near Yellowstone. Taking guests on pack train trips into the Park. Mary and Glen Brough both died in Red Lodge, Mt.

Actually the name isn't familiar to us. Hubby remembers meeting Turk when hubby was about 6 or so. Another member of that group was Wild Bill Elliot. His step father Bob Woodward did over 115 stunts and movies from about 1936 to 1950s and worked with a bunch of famous cowboys.
Turk and Bill Elliot are the pictures we still have all signed with comments to hubby's mom

There was a guy that was married to a lady who lived in the Mt.Shasta area. Hubby said as a little kid he didn't remember anything but the nickname for the guy.. T.A. Hubby really like him and was always running the pastures and trails with him on the horses. His mom lived there for a while until she found out that Bob who she was married to was actually married to another person.

Ok where is Mt.Shasta. I live in Nebraska so I am a long way from the area you are talking about. Do you have a year that you husband and T.A. were riding trail together. The census only goes to 1930 if it was after that I can not search for this person. Would it be possible to find your husband as a child on the census. Really I don't think he is that old. But just asking.

Bob's daughter is 66 today so the time frame must have been late 1930's early 1940.
