I'm trying to help a friend find information about her grandparents. She knows that her grandmother went to a nursing school in NYC in the 1950s and that her grandfather was a custodian at the school. Does anyone know of an historical nurses registry for that time period? We're hoping to the school which might narrow down a neighborhood in which to search for additional information. Any pointers would be appreciated.
