sheila... my father, a first grade detective named Timothy Clune , was a member of the Safe and Loft squad . His partner was named Fred Itchner. Do those names ring a bell?? My father died in 1932 from spinal meningeitis. At the time of his death he was stationed at the 104th pre- cinct. My mother had told me there was a shake up at the Safe and Loft Squad... sommething to do with a fur heist.... and the detectives were reassigned and posted around the city. Don't know much else.
