I am looking for information about Thacker Coal & Coke in Mingo Co. West Virginia. I believe my Great Grandfather ( William Harrison Neeves,married to Willie Fraizer Lily Dolinger,) and Possibly my Great Great Grandfather ( James (Jim) Neeves, married to Sarah Riddle) worked there sometime in the early 1900-1920's. My Grandmother at one time told me that a man by the name of Jim Vincent murdered James Neeves in or around Thacker. If anyone has any info on these people it would be a blessing.
