Does anyone have anything on William Salter, Glassblower?
I have the following information so far..
William Salter bn possibly about 1785 - and thought to have died 1825, East end of London, either Shoreditch or Whitechapel.
Married to 'Elizabeth' surname unknown - but not thought to be Elizabeth Graddon (marriage to a Wm Salter 1812, Aldersgate, London)
Two sons at least -
William bap April 1809 at St George in the East
Charles bap 1812 at St Saviours Southwark.
Can follow family through to present day from Charles, but looking for details of William and beyond.

Hello. I created a Facebook Group for genealogists who have 18th & 19th century American glassblowers in their trees. Since the trade was in high demand and the skills passed from father to son, the lives of Early American glassblowers were often interconnected as they crossed paths from job to job. Hopefully, using traditional research and genetic genealogy, we'll find more of those connections as we network and share information.

My 4th great-grandfather, Daniel Robinson was a glassblower in New York State in the early 1800's, and in my research I've stumbled upon many other glass-workers.
