My 3rd great grandfather, John Watson, sailed from England to Hawaii in 1847 and remained there. I am thinking he either sailed on a Hudson Bay Co. ship or a Starkey, Janion & Co. ship. I know the archives for the HBC records are in Manitoba, but can anyone tell me where I might access the Starkey records? The headquarters were in Liverpool.
