I am looking for info on Grimes Sawmill in Benton County Arkansas. In March of 1914 my gggrandfather was working for the Grimes' at that sawmill when he was killed by a pile of lumber that fell on him while he was eating lunch. I would love to know more about this sawmill and that accident if anyone knows more..
Thanks
Tina

He went by several different names. William Carr was his name and he used several middle names. (Bryant and Bradley). I know he was married to Martha Etris and Ella Walker both.

Hello Sharon, I am Tina's sister and have been digging to see what else could be found on our ggggrandfather William Carr, he was from the Northern part of Arkansas in Benton County. Do you know who Zachariahs father and mother was I might be able to track them to this William Carr who died in a Sawmill accident. He was married to Ella Duncan Walker Carr at the time of his death, however he was married to Martha Mahala Etris before then. They had several children together, while married to Ella he went by the name of Brent. Please let me know if you have the names of your ggrandfather's parents I will do some digging to see if they fit into our Carrs

Thanks
Patti
