YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Lucille T. Vodilko, 95, of the city’s west side, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 23, 2015, at Hospice House, Poland, Ohio.

Lucille was born Feb. 29, 1920, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Margaret Fitzgerald Barbarotta, and came to this area with her new husband in 1949.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, Lucille worked for several years for the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company, and for the Medical-Dental Bureau in Youngstown.
Mrs. Vodilko was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Holy Name of Jesus Church in Youngstown. (Mahoning County)
Her beloved husband, Michael J. Vodilko Jr., whom she married Oct. 22, 1949 in New Jersey, passed away Sept. 14, 2002. Lucille leaves her son, Michael J. III (Laurie) Vodilko of Poland, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Luke Zuzga, Jennifer Cupp, Allison Cramer, and Michael Vodilko IV. Besides her husband, a daughter, Marie Zuzga; a grandson, Joseph Zuzga; four sisters, Madeline Barbarotta, Sister Mary Salvatore S.M.S., Clare Burns, and Catherine Oakes; and two brothers, Peter and Joseph Barbarotta, preceded her in death.
Family and friends may gather Friday, June 26, for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Holy Name of Jesus Church, 613 N. Lakeview Ave., Youngstown, OH. Committal services will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, where Lucille will be laid to rest next to her husband.
