YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Edward Church for Agnes Marie Kleshock, 87, formerly of Liberty Township, who died Thursday evening at Park Vista Retirement Community.
Mrs. Kleshock was born April 3, 1925, in Greenville, Pa., the daughter of Michael Benetin and Anna Lucas.
She graduated from St. Michael’s High School in 1943 and from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in 1946.
Mrs. Kleshock was employed for 40 years at St. Elizabeth Health Center as a registered nurse in the newborn nursery, retiring in 1987.
She was a member of St. Edward Church, St. Michael Alumna Association and St. Elizabeth Alumna Association.
Mrs. Kleshock married Nick C. Kleshock on Sept. 30, 1946, and he passed on Dec. 2, 2006.
She is survived by seven children, Michael (Kimberlee) Kleshock of Cincinnati, Ohio; Mark (Cyndie) Kleshock of Phoenix, Mariane (John) of Blairsfield, Ga., Susan Bee of Greenville, Pa., Linda (Bud) of Burghill, Kathleen (Phill) Datko of Youngstown, Ohio and Lisa Ann (Luke) Wood of Blandon; one sister, Mary Ann Golub of Athens, Ga.; 20 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Edward McNeely; five brothers, Michael, John, Andrew, Joseph and James Benetin; and three sisters, Anna Valler, Helen Johns and Margaret Valler.
Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McVean, Hughes and McClurkin Funeral Home and on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Edward Church.
The family requests that memorial contributions take the form of contributions to Park Vista Retirement Community.
